Bailey Joinery: A Year in Review - Crafting Excellence in 2023
As the year draws to a close, we at Bailey Joinery take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've had. 2023 has been a year of remarkable projects, innovative designs, and happy clients. Here are some of our favourite projects that not only challenged us but also brought immense satisfaction to our team and our clients.
The Bespoke Kitchen Project - A Symphony in Wood and Stone
One of our proudest achievements this year was the completion of a stunning bespoke kitchen. This project was a true testament to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The kitchen featured solid wood doors and beautifully crafted oak dovetail drawers, symbolizing the timeless elegance of classic carpentry.
But the real showstopper was the Dekton worktops. These surfaces brought a contemporary edge to the kitchen, blending durability with style. The juxtaposition of the rustic wood with the modern Dekton created a space that was not only functional but also a visual feast.
Fitted Wardrobes Project - Trendsetting with Reed Green
This year, we embraced the new trend of Reed Green, and it turned out to be a game-changer. Our fitted wardrobe project in this hue was a standout. The four-panel shaker doors finished in Reed Green, paired with the natural oak internal cabinets, brought a refreshing and modern vibe to the room.
The beauty of these wardrobes was not just skin deep. The made-to-measure design ensured no space was wasted, proving that style and functionality could coexist beautifully.
Entrance Storage Solutions – A Classy First Impression with Organisation at its Heart
Say goodbye to clutter and hello to a beautifully organized home! Back In July our Team of Joiners completed a Doorway Entrance Storage project for a busy family in Harrogate, and the results were AMAZING! 💫
The challenge? A chaotic entrance with mountains of clothing, shoes, and general bits, and a step right inside the doorway.
Our solution?
✔️ Customized storage units designed to perfection!
✔️ Low-height base Cupboard for bags and decorative items
✔️ Drawers for keys, mail, and small items
✔️ A double and a single wardrobe just for shoes
✔️ Two double wardrobes for coats and other outerwear
And the step? We cleverly engineered the wardrobes at different depths to mask the step and create a seamless, integrated appearance! 👌

Crafting Alcove Units with Precision and Care
The Bespoke Alcove units we designed were a testament to our meticulous attention to detail and deep respect for the architecture of the space. Situated in a room with tall ceilings and adorned with beautiful traditional features, these units needed to be both respectful of the existing space and functional for our clients' needs.
On one side, we designed a base cabinet with an integrated radiator cover, which was an essential aspect of the project. This integration not only served a practical purpose but also determined the worktop height, showcasing our ability to consider and incorporate the unique features of a room in our designs.
Blending Traditional and Modern Elements
In creating these bookcases, we didn't just focus on functionality. We also paid close attention to the aesthetic aspects, ensuring that our design complemented the room's traditional charm. The final design was a collaborative effort, merging our clients' desires with our professional input to create something truly special.
The material of choice for this project was moisture-resistant MDF, chosen for its durability and adaptability. To finish these pieces, they were handed over to a professional furniture finisher for hand-painting. This process not only ensured a high-quality finish but also allowed for a personalized touch that aligned with the room's overall aesthetic.
We're excited to see these Alcove Units once they have been professionally painted and hope to get updated photos
Looking To 2024
As we bid farewell to 2023, we at Bailey Joinery are filled with gratitude for the opportunities we've had to bring our clients' visions to life. These projects are just a few examples of the passion and expertise that we bring to every task.
We're excited about what 2024 holds and look forward to continuing our journey in creating bespoke carpentry that not only meets but exceeds expectations. To all our clients and supporters, thank you for being part of our story. Here's to another year of crafting dreams into reality!
