The Challenge: A Step in the Doorway
Our clients approached us with the need for fitted storage options that not only looked great but also functionally served their needs. One of the unique challenges was a step located a few meters upon entering the house, which presented an obstacle in creating a seamless fitted wardrobe. To tackle the issue of the step at the entrance, we carefully engineered the wardrobes at different depths. This allowed us to create an illusion of continuity while masking the step, making the units appear as one beautifully integrated piece.

We designed a set of fitted wardrobes that ticked all the boxes for our clients. The structure consisted of:
- Low-Height Base Cupboard: We provided a base cupboard at a convenient height that is perfect for stashing bags or placing decorative items.
- Drawers for Bits and Bobs: A set of drawers conveniently located for items like keys, mail, and all those little things that need a home.
- Double and Single Wardrobe for Shoes: Given the size of the family’s shoe collection, we installed one double and one single wardrobe specifically designed for shoe storage.
- Two Double Wardrobes for Garments: With the chilly Harrogate weather, a wardrobe just for coats and other outerwear was essential. We built two double wardrobes fitted with high-quality hangers and compartments.
